About James Garden Care

James Coggins has over 25 years experience in horticulture.

He served a four-year apprenticeship, first at Bristol Zoological Gardens and then at Bath Parks Department for two years.

James was then accepted as a student gardener at the Royal Horticultural Society's garden at Wisley where he gained the Wisley Diploma.

After leaving Wisley James joined the garden centre industry where he spent most of his career at Notcutts garden centres, successfully managing three of their larger centres.

After many years James decided to go back to his gardening roots, dealing closely with plants, people and their gardens.

James has an excellent and in depth knowledge of gardening and horticulture and is available for all your garden needs, whether it be help with a project (or problem) or for regular garden or grounds maintenance.
